Description
“Releasing the creative potential of the unconscious mind, fighting the establishment” these words express the values of the surrealist art movement and equally the craft beer movement. We are proud of our Belgian roots and we aim to add our twist to the beer scene, letting people discover new tastes and stimulating their palate like an artist would stimulate the mind. Beyond rules, rabbits & reality, We create the beers of our dreams.

T: medium malty base, orange, mango, bit grapefruits, pine touch, medium carbonation, long lasting harmonic bitterness, nice balanced for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Deep red colour with thin head. Fresh and easy to drink. Refreshing. Not really having much depth though. I don't get anything of the barrel.

On tap at the Brasserie Surrealist, Brussels Friday 29th April 2022. Wow what an amazing building but let us not forget the great beers either. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Solid Saison, nice little spicy edge, warming, a little fruity tang, enjoyed this.

Can picked up from Beyondbeer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Sunday 24th April 2022 listening to Wet Leg - Wet Leg. We are cooking Chimichangas for tea tonight and also a Sausage Casserole. This pours warm orange/gold, very hazy appearance with a white head. This seems to straddle some Hazy v Regular IPA territory, lots of streaky bitterness, perfume edge, a little bit of Yuzu actually not Yuzu it's that little orange fruit, we've got some Jan with it, it looks like an ornamental tree but fruit is very nice, anyway back to the beer, it's great ❤️

Can picked up from Beyondbeer webshop, Hamburg and consumed at home Sunday 3rd April 2022 listening to Wet Leg - A few singles as the album is not out yet, cooking Massaman Meatballs with a Vegetable Curry for tea this evening. Pours clear gold, with a some very light sediment there is a white head. Soft mouthfeel, nice warmth, hoppiness is typically Belgian in sofar as it has to work with the rest of the gang, however it's juicy, good hoppiness, so, so drinkable for the abv. Like this.

Can from Geers. Hazy yellow, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of starfruit, physalis, passion fruit, mandarin, lime zest, yoghurt. Taste has sour starfruit, lime & mandarin; lemon & softly lactic acid note over wheaty maltiness. Floral hoppy finish, more sour fruit, passion fruit flesh, bit dry & salty. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. NIcely minerally and refreshing.
