Description
Torc Brewing has been brewing and delivering local craft beer to the people of Killarney since 2014. Torc was the first brewery in Killarney since Garret Hore’s “Killarney Ale and Porter Brewery” which was located in Brewery Lane in 1819. Two hundred years later, our Killarney-owned brewery moves online to bring* our Torc beer to the town and the world. Stay home, stay safe and drink responsibly!

Jet black, fluffy rich tan head
Aroma of soft roast, earthy red fruits, hint of dark chocolate
Taste of dark malts, roasted malt, some earthy hops, touch of red berry fruits, hint of dark bitter chocolate
Palate Medium carb, light to medium body, tad thin, light sweet, soft bitter roast. Finish of dark fruits, soft coffee roast, light burnt toast, bit bitter earthy
Overall - OK porter - body bit thin though

Straw colour, light haze, thin white head
Aroma - soft sweet fruit nose, light apricot
Taste of light fruits, soft wheat, very little hops, watery, little flavour
Palate - Very soft carb, light body, bit creamy. Finish is light sweet, slight wheat, rapid - linger a bit dry bitter
Overall - Not much going on here, didn’t get the orange peel, watery, very dull flavour, half of the bottle thrown out

Bottle from Supervalu. Cloudy amber with a large frothy head. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Flavour is sweet digestive biscuit, orange grain base, dry earthy finish.

Bottle from Bradleys, Cork [160416]
Amber, soft haze, huge frothy head
Aroma of sweet fruits, light sweet apricot and orange, slight grain, grassy hops
Taste if grain, fruits as aroma, dab of yeast, rather bland
Palate - High carb - overcarbonated, light body, quite sweet. Finish as main flavour, hint of biscuit malt, rapid finish
Overall - Far too much carbonation, needed constant swirling. Rather plain and not great

Draught at the Headline. Honey lemon with a thin head. Aroma of fruit syrup. Flavour is oily fruit, sweet malt, lacks a bit of kick for the abv.
