Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours clear golden with a white head. Fruit, yeast, sugar and caramel. Medium bodied. Vaguely metallic flavor . Quite bland.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Golden with a small white head. Weak aroma of caramel, apple peel and cinnamon. Sweet caramel flavour with fruity notes, and a bit of yeast

On tap at In de Wildeman. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is light malty, light fruity, a bit spicy, citrus, sweet. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, light spicy, fruity, light bitter finish. A bit overcarbonated. Decent tripel/strong blond ale.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, big white head. Very lively beer! Smell malts, orange, lemon, banana. Very fruity smell, very nice balance. Really invites me to taste it. Taste malts, hops, yeast, hints of lemon, lightly hints of spices. Quite like it. Soft to medium carbonation, medium body.

Bottle @ home. Hazy almost opaque orange-golden color with a very nice looking, thick and creamy white head. Smell malts, sweetness, lightly yeast, lightly some fruityness. Taste malts, yeast, some sweet fruits, maybe plums. Not bad at all imo. Soft to medium carbonation, medium body.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, Belgie, 12.11.11 consumed at home 23.11.11 Pours gold moving to orange with white bubbly head. Some freshness on the nose with a light hoppiness protruding through the spiciness and sweet notes. Sweet in mouth, bit too sweet if truth be told, spicy & yeasty, soft carbonation, think I’m getting some coriander, but not 100% sure, though it is very spicy. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

33cl. Dorée allant sur l’orangé, col épais blanc. Arôme de houblon avec un profile épicé qui donne un agréable bouquet, note de grains. En bouche, bière typique belge, alcool est de suite présent, note de cra malt, mais aussi une épice qui est notable allant presque sur des esters, grains avec le seigle qui rajoute une touche piquant, mi-douce avec le sucre candi. Palais reste sec et un côté résineux léger de fruits. Je m’attendais à une levure plus dans la lignée des bières d’abbaye qui qurait pu donner plus de vie à cette bière.

33cl bottle. BB 06/2014 Dorée, col blanc épais. Arôme de malt caramel, houblon léger et citronné. En bouche, légèrement fruitée; citron, abricot, amertume modérée avec une belle douceur. Aspect fleuri avec en arrière une pointe de levure. Garde ce côté belge.
