Description

26/08/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB:06/2014 (2011-408)

Little cloudy deep orange beer, creamy off-white head, stable and little adhesive. Aroma: citrus fruits, some malts, and pretty straightforward soapy. MF: good carbon, light body. Taste: some citrus, little sweet, candi sugar, pretty watery, faint hops, then some yellow fruits (peaches) and grape juice. Aftertaste: bit soapy, sweet, pretty plain. Not an offensive beer, but nothing too interesting either.

Huge, but dwindling dense white head with an orange sheen; golden, well-carbonated bere with again orange reflections. Spicy-herbal nose, superimposed on pale malts; later some citrusaroma, even outspoken. Pale & toasted malts, hints at liquorice - weird in a blond beer. Soapy aroma. Sharpish impression due to the toasted malts, but further desperately empty. Brewer claims to aim for the casual tourist, not for the beer geek. He’s got that part right, already.Txs. to Tim for bringing!

A little, very carbonated clear golden beer, metallic, under a towering mass of dense, fine white foam, agitating as if alive. Dough-spicy, white candi sugar apertly traceable and some definite other grains; once the towering head has diminished somewhat, the spicy odours get more outspoken, sharper. Spicy and faint citurszeste, again dough flavour, white candi sugar. Coriander outspoken in the finish. Very lively carbonation; medium bodied at best, bit sticky finish. A spicy tripeL Yeah, indeed - so what?
