Description
La Brasserie des Géants a été créée en 1997 par deux ingénieurs, Pierre et Vinciane Delcoigne, au Castel d’Irchonwelz, datant du douzième siècle. Le premier brassin a été mis en vente en 2000.

La Brasserie Ellezelloise a été fondée par Philippe Gérard en 1993 et produit la gamme Quitine et Hercule. La salle de brassage y permet deux à trois brassins de 15 hl par jour.

Née du mariage en 2006 de la Brasserie des Géants et de la Brasserie Ellezelloise, la Brasserie des Légendes s’inspire du folklore riche de nos régions: la Ducasse d’Ath avec son cortège des Géants et le Sabbat des Sorcières d’Ellezelles.

Puis en 2019, la Brasserie des Légendes reprend les activités de la Distillerie de Biercée.

Bottle. Light unclear meium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light yeasty and malty. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (100907)

Bottled@SBWF2007. Hazy golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is acidic fruits, some yeast and caramel malts. Flavour is acidic fruits, earth and some spices. Spices and metal in finish.

Clear orange with off white creamy head. Fruity malty aroma. Sprinkly to lively carbonation. Close to watery body. Some bitter hops in the end. Rather dull & boring dry taste. Have had better saisons than this one!

Clear orange with fine full creamy lasting head. Aroma is sweet of fruits & malts. Sprinkly almost lively carbonation. Yeasty notes. Medium bodied. Dry bitter end. Rather simple but very enjoyable!

Gift from my Belgium beer pusher in Oudenaarde. Clear golden body with an egg white head & fine lacings. Aroma is very yeasty & fruity. Soft mouthfeel - pleasant filling texture. Typical tripel spices & light alcohol. This one is extremely enjoyable. Light warmth, dry finish. Very well made tripel!

(Sampled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Shady straw yellow color, fluffy white head. Spicy herbal scent. Yeasty spicy and metallic taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle at home ... Orange ,sweet slightly spicy hop light wheat and orange ... light fruity hops some coriander ... pear and apple ... with a soft citrusness ... with soft juicy sweet pears on linger.

Bottle. Clear medium ornage color with a average to large, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruit, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is lively.

colore quasi ambrato schiuma abbondante molto persistente profumi intensi non molti in bocca piacevole non eccessivamente amara note di noccioala lievemente "liquorosa"
