Red pinky, a bit hazy color, very lively carbonation - like a lemonade, small reddish head. Papery aroma, some wood and light artifical blackcurrant aroma. Very watery, dry with very light blackcurrant flavor, malty flavor dominates. This is maybe natural but very tasteless, even wonder where is that 5.7 % of alcohol.

Tasted at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown, July 16, 2005. Hazy blonde with a thin white head. Very light spiced hopped aroma. Rather uninteresting blonde trippel with light spices, coriander, but nothing special.

Dark brown color; thick creamy head. Malty brew, strong caramel character, light sweet liquorice, candi sugar, strong bitterness. Very good.

(Bottle 75 cl) Clear, dark brown with a handsome beige coloured head. Roasted, slightly burned aroma. Marked malty flavour with some lightly burned flavours - almost has a stout like character if it wasn’t for the Belgian spicing. Very dry finish. 241205

Deep dark stout with a thin lacing moka head. Aroma of coffee, aniseed and coriander. took me a while before I started sipping. Rich chocolate in mouth with nice sustained hops, spicey notes of anis again, and sustained alcohol warmth. Good rich tingly bodied stout. More of an hybrid between a stout and a belgian brown. Yummy. Bottle at Moeder Lambic, April 2005.

Hazy red ruby color, decent off-white head. Sweet berry and malty aroma. Malty, oaky, some bitterness and sugar in finish. Light alcohol in the aftertaste. Yeast here reminds me from some other brew - De Dolle maybe?

(Bottle 33 cl) Very unclear - almost unclean - pilsener golden with a very creamy head. Very yeasty nose. Sweetish malty flavour with some lightly perfumy notes - probably coriander. Solid hoppy finish. 031205

33cl bottle from Utobeer. BBE July 05. Hazy copper colour with thin white head, sediment in suspension. Spicey brown sugar aroma. Honey, ginger, cinnamon and hops are all in evidence. Good complex flavours but some mustiness too. More brown sugar in mouth with sweetness too, but this doesn’t over run the mouth feel. Dry bitter hop on end, yet brown sugar flavour lives on
