Dumpy 33cl bottle from a dodgy night shop in Brugge, drank on 1st Feb 2020 in my hotel room after a day of touristy wanderings around the city. Lager like in looks, clean and clear golden body, short lived white head. Some hop action in the nose and taste, it's OK, without getting your senses too excited.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy pale yellow golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of some banana, sweet malt, yeast. Taste of sweet pale malt, banana, typical belgian yeast.

Lichtgeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en licht zuur met iets van gras en een onbekende kruidige bijsmaak die ik niet kan thuis brengen. Best wel aardig bier.

16 November 2019. At 4de Gentse Bierquiz. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Clear golden with a lasting, thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of rice, grain, yeast, citrus, spices, bread. Taste is restrained sweetish apple peel, pear, bitter spices over a yeasty, grainy, bready profile; sourish wheaty accent into the dry, yeasty, grassy hoppy finish. Light to medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Okay basic blonde but I detest that overcarbonation which ruins an already underwhelming taste.

Interesting. Not spicy really, got that malty Belgian pale ale thing going on. Perhaps a touch spicy. Very easy drinking. Malty.

Tap. Moeder Original. Soft haze on a reddy copper colour. Thick white head settles to a dense island. Nose has fruit cake. Nuts. Some sherry like notes. Light caramel malt. Taste is semi sweet, with a vinous, dried fruit bitterness. Light to medium body belies the 7%. Foamy, brisk carbonation. Light bitter finish. Decent old school number.

33cl bottle. A almost clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild banana and mango, yeast. Taste of dry yellow fruits, mango, peach, some banana, yeast. Good!
