Elegant 330ml bottle with a deep red neck and cool label design, brewed in 2010, bought at Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo. Noisy pour revealing a cloudy, dark-red body topped by a disappearing white-beige head. Tart-sweet fruity nose. Sweet fruits and tart cherry-like berries in flavour, gradually becoming sweeter towards the ending. Dry in the mouth. Mostly masked alcohol. Distinctive and drinkable (shared with Finn at the first day of our Skibotn session, 16.09.2011).

330ml bottle, 2010, brought back to the true north from Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo. Cool bottle logo and nice bottle design, including the black neck. Pours a dense, tan-coloured foamy head, slowly fading over a devil-black body. Church windows to the glassware. Semi-sweet nose of cocoa added by a bite of lactose. Cocoa-chocolate taste supported by herbal hops and roastiness. Lingering bittersweet ending of dark fruits. Well balanced and well bodied. Pleasurable brew (Session with Finn, Skibotn 16.09.2011).

375 ml bottle, vintage 2009, bought at Vinmonopolet Vika and consumed at my hotel room. Top score when it comes to the appearance with its stylish, compact, champagne-like bottle, pale golden bottle neck, fawn-coloured head, and dark brown body. Unusual aroma of dark chocolate mixed with a kind of tartness that is not overdone. The taste profile is also strange with herbal dry, dark malts, coffee grounds together with spices and a good bite of acidity. Roasted bittersweet ending with covered alcohol. A porter-like brew with an acid touch. Really unusual, but I like it (Oslo, 30.08.2011).

Dolciastra, fruttata, acidula, incredibilmente gustosa e morbidissima. Corpo medio, consistenza oleosa, carbonazione soft. Una birra fantastica.
