750 ml bottle at Makke shared with tarheels86. Murky purple color, large red head (nice!). Aroma of strawberry, dust and sweat. Taste has lemon rind, sour cherry, and a nice sweet/sour balance. Tasty.

Bottle. Slightly hazy pink / amber with little head. Intense vinous, acidic, yeasty aroma - complex, interesting and a little threatening - reminds me of geuze. Light body with lovely champagne-like frothy carbonation. Complex and unusual taste, that is pleasantly sour from start to finish. It starts off with a lot of subtle additional flavours - spice and leather. Finishes cleanly tart. An unusual and pleasant beer.

Bottle thanks to Nate at the Imperial Geezer tasting, Borough Market. Black barley wine. Tar, roast on aroma. Lovely roasty aroma. Some ginger on the end, but that may be the alcohol heat. Bit thin in mouth. Just lacks a bit.
