Started as a client brewer in 2015. Opened its own brewery in 2020. Superflux has set up operations in the heart of ‘Yeast Van,’ joining a number of other breweries that have beer lovers flocking to the area. An experiment in IPA-focused Beer Production currently and semi-permanently located at 505 Clark, Dr. Vancouver.

Draft - Belgian yeasts and citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sweet and bitter citrus peel with a nice Belgian yeast note.

2016-05-06, draught at Callister, 12oz, 8-3-9-5-17=42
Getting less dank and more lemon peel. Almost more pleasure from the flavor than the aroma today.

2016-04-27, draught at Callister; 4+12oz, 9-3-8-5-18=43
Murky blond color, compact head. Wonderful fruity aroma, infinite tropical. Smooth, lean, delicate blond malts, the hops are very juicy, the bitterness is strong but well balanced, tingly resins in the finish. A bit dirty, yeasty.
Excellent modern Double IPA.

On tap at Callister, pours a very cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very dank as usual, with lots of dank piney hops dominating. Flavour is along the same lines, with extremely pungent hoppy dankness that ruins the palate. This one is a little harsher than Machine's other IPA offerings, but still very good.

Draft - Sweet mango and tropical fruit with some nice citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Mango, tropical fruit and pithy sweet bitterness. Touch of dank as it warms a bit.

Draft - Nice juicy Mandarin. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Mandarin and some peel with a light clean finish. Depth in taste and body would have been nice, seems thin but extremely easy drinking because of it.

On tap at Callister, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, with a very creamy quality. Flavour is fairly dank, with lots of piney and citrus hops. Very creamy palate. A little yeasty, but acceptably so. Very good.

Cloudy golden color. Excellent hop juice, very resiny and a bit dank, nice dry malt backbone too.

Draught at Callister
Hazy blond color with small head. The aroma is lightly tart, but also with American/Belgian yeast, vegetables. Strange spicy profile, mingling with moderate sweetness and vegetables, tea; a bit yeasty in the final, and a sour hint; it has a decent level of bitterness.

Draught at Callister
Golden color, hazy, with compact head. Tropical IPA, the aroma is actually mild, the flavor is more evident; soft mouthfeel, with a delicate toffee malt flavor; the aroma has a tiny animal presence too, and the flavor has some chamomile. The final has some cardboard, less interesting than expected. Could benefit from some more carbonation and dryness. Fruity and tropical, nice.

Draft - Loght funk and yeasty notes. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Peppery and sweet fruity yeast. Yeasty and a bit boring.
