Poured from the tap @ Superflux. Clear amber gold with full white head. Sweet bready malt, quite simple. They're charging +$3 to try this as part of the flight of 3, no thanks, just dink poured a taste of it.

This one was a mix of the usual hop burn that tears your throat, as per Superflux, with a bit more sweetness in the front, maybe Other Half influence? The hops of course are not particularly distinct, which is too bad because these are nice varieties.

Greyish-purple colour. More raspberry than strawberry, but yeah, vanilla, graham cracker and all that. Thick and shit.

On tap at Superflux, pours an opaque, muddy, milky yellow with a small white head — looks like shit. Aroma is full of hopburn, chalk, and some dankness in there. Flavour is egregious — so much hopburn and chalk, along with a weird chemical spiciness; there's some dankness in there but this is such a poorly constructed beer that the dankness it totally ruined by the egregious chalk, hopburn and chemical spiciness. I can't imagine Other Half would approve the final product — maybe they consulted with Superflux and had little say on the final product because this is shit and way beneath OH's standard.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma has notes of corn, herbal notes, straw, and a touch of grass — don't really get the Saaz. Flavour is dry, with toasted malt and a hint of the spiciness from the Saaz — this seems more like it. Clean and easy but unexciting.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear pale amber with a small white head. Aroma is clean and restrained, with toasted bready malt and not much else. Flavour almost strikes me as English malt-dominated, with soft bready malt and almost no hop expression. Creamy palate, like it was nitro'd. Unexciting. Why do they charge a premium for such an ordinary, lacklustre beer?

Deep cherry colour, no head but sort of a scum on top. Lots of cherry, nice lime cutting through, of course it’s thick and dessertlike. Light vanilla, graham cracker.

Medium gold colour and a medium head. Bright. Clean biscuity malt, moderate bitterness. Hop has a bit of allium, but not a lot more character beyond that.

Medium gold. No head. The malt is both bready and a bit doughy on the nose. It’s an “almost there but not quite” vibe. Light bitterness, same malt character, and maybe a slight tartness. More on the “not quite” side today.
