Interesting! Definitely got that sake thing going on. Tartness in the aroma and a touch in the taste. Bit musty and earthy. Some berries in there too. Quite fizzy!

Bottle from the brewery. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with lace. Herbal, resiny, citrus hops. Pine, grapefruit, rich malt, light caramel and chocolate. Piny, chocolate flavor, toast, caramel, citrus, light mint. Great hops, nice. Crisp body, spicy, hoppy finish but not too bitter. Like this. Would normally call it an American Brown, but I guess that doesn't sell.

Bottle from the brewery. Saison with catnip. Rich malt nose, spicy like chili peppers, honey, biscuits, orange. Bright clear golden orange with lace. Crisp malt, slightly sweet, honey, mild chili pepper which I guess it catnip? Light lemon. Grains. I'm not sure about the additives in this one. Not bad but I don't think it helps. Finish is a bit herbal-muddy, spicy, peppery.

Bottle from the brewery. Bright, zesty nose or grapefruit, lemon, orange, light biscuit, and a bit of tropical fruit. Medium pastel gold, cloudy, with lace. Light, crisp, citrus fruit, a bit of crackers. Light body, light malt. A nice refresher but doesn't really kick flavor-wise. More for the summer.

Bottle from the brewery. Herbal, grassy, resiny hop nose with berries and citrus.lightly toasty caramel malt. Lovely deep red, clear, with lace. Resiny, minty, herbal hops with chocolate and caramel flavors. Quite luscious, with a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Really enjoying this—a kind of beer no one makes any more.
