clear amber colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of toffee, roasted sunflower seeds, some (toasted) rye bready, floral and slight prune, as well as dried cherry; taste is quite the same with moderate herbal hoppy notes; not bad at all

Small cream-coloured head over fully opaque brown beer. Caramel, toffee, whiff of smoke, liquorice, nuts, chocolate. Smoke even more prominent in the mouth, elderberry syrup, caramel, ashes. Bit of yellow apples. Getting woody, bit of chocolate in the aftertaste. Feels better bodied than it probably is; good carbonation. Original profile for a brown ale: the smoke, no excess sweetness. Still far from worldshaking. Txs to Joren for bringing!

33cl bottle. A minimal hazy yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild grainy pale malt and straw. Taste of mild spicy hops, pale malt, some grains. Easy to drink.
