About
Winning innovator on the Belgian beer market with brands such as Maes, Cristal, Desperados, Grimbergen, Affligem, Strongbow and Mort Subite.
Maes Pils volgt in 1946.

Little cloudy beige beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, some banana, dried fruits, a bit sweet, ripe apples, floral touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet, spicy, lots of coriander, very floral, elderflowers, soft acidity. Aftertaste: very yeasty, sweet, some alcohol, a little malty, banana, little spicy, some coriander, ok, not too bad actually.
