Well that’s a bonus. Thought I’d ticked this. Bottle. Lidl box. Clear gold. Decent white foam. Was better when topped up with a hard pour. Nose has sweet-ish grain. Whiff of sourness. Ever so slightly metallic. Taste is pretty sweet up front with a bit more of the metallic thing in the bitterness. Feels a bit heavy on the palate with quite low carbonation. Bitter finish. Not the best from this box so far, by quite a way.

Straw and paper. Light mercury. Pours clear golden with pretty good foamy head. Finish is fairly crisp. Good for style. Can from Costco calendar.

Roast, a little light mocha. Very light all around. Loght tang on the finish, maybe cloying lactose. Black pour with decent mocha head. Had this as part of the Biergarten mixed 24 pack at Costco.

Ein Helles in der 0,33-Dose von der renommieren Brauerei Rittmayer gekauft bei Penny. Mit englischem Produktnamen und 4 eher ungewöhnlichen Hopfensorten. Hmm. Das Bier hat eine ganz minimale Trübung, Schaumentwicklung noch OK. Frucht, Getreide, Blumen und Honig in der Nase. Weich, Kohlensäure im Mediumbereich. Geschmacklich dann - bleibt der Craftbeer-Hopfen-Overkill aus. Die Gene eines bayerischen Hellen blitzen mehr als deutlich durch. Viel Getreide, etwas Frucht (insbesondere etwas Birne und ein Hauch Grapefruit), leichte florale Noten und eine Ahnung von Honig. Und doch - der Hopfen liefert hier mehr als nur die für ein Helles typischen (also eher milden) Bitternoten. Alles kommt etwas frischer und mit mehr Finesse rüber. Das Bier kann man problemlos dem IPAs hassenden Normalbiertrinker vorsetzen, hat aber doch einen ganz kleinen, ungewöhnlichen Twist.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe; relativ feinporige, stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase hellmalzig, frisch, im Hintergrund blumiger Hopfen. Im Geschmack wunderbar abgestimmt, würzig, malzig, leichte Honignoten, deutliche aber nicht zu intensive Süße, mehr Hopfenbittere als man von einem Festbier erwartet.

From Alko Hirvensalo. Smell of bread. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of malt, bread, earth. Faint honey. Lively carbon. Medium sweet. Quite stuffy.

Dorada clara, limpia, brillante. Espuma blanca abundante y duradera. Aroma a grano, malta, especias. En boca es ligera, en su punto de gas, refrescante. Equilibrada, seca, con buen punto de amargor. Malteada con contrapunto lupulado que aporta notas especiadas y florales. Buena helles.

Bottle from a local getränkemarket in Weimar. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts fine malty, spicy, light metallical touch. Shy bitter background. Finish less spicy, still with some metallical notes. Not bad.
