Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting 17/01/2019. Thanks to Tipple. A clear nutty brown colourd pour with a big creamy frothy tan head. Aroma is apple, light tang, floral tangerien notes, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody pine, jammy, earthy roast, floral. Palate is dry, woody, moderate carboantion. dry earthy. Ok. Dirty finsh.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to Tipple, 17/01/19. Light black with a big old tan covering. Nose is cocoa sprinkle, light perfume, toffee, dusty red berry fruits. Taste comprises light charr, faint pine, chocolate, light roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Passable CDA.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Tips. Pours deep brown with a creamy khaki head. Alright overall, bit nondescript, dry cocoa, ashy roast, burnt pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter finish, baking cocoa, ashy roast. Fine.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy golden, creamy head. Chalky nose with some lemon. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Chalky and fruity with notes of lemon. Low bitterness.

At Solothurner Biertage. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is citra hops, sweaty feet, bready, grains, infected wet malt. Body is light, softly sweet but barely bitter, with a low carbonation, little fruit, some citrus notes, a bit oily (probably from wheat). Not offensive, but nothing particularly good about this either.

At Solothurner Biertage. Pours cloudy darkish amber. Aroma is bacon, pigs, smoked malts. Body is medium, softly sweet and smoked, yet holding back a bit too much. Lively carbonation. Could be denser and more intense, a tad watery. Good effort.

At Solothurner Biertage. Pours darkest brown. Aroma is rum barrel, booze, metal, rust. Body is heavy, boozy and flavourless. Well, metallic again. And rum, burnt rum if that exists. Oh boy.

At Solothurner Biertage. Pours black. Aroma is grassy hops, tar, ash. Body is medium, strongly roasted, still hoppy, but sooooo much burnt bread crust. Really not much else. Meh.

Appearance: Hazy orange golden. Nice amount of creamy white head.
Aroma: Smoke, bacon, roasted.
Taste: Nice smoke character. Some roastedness and dark fruits too.
Bought: Bier Arena Murten, 330 ml, CHF 4.90
