330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amberkleurig, with small to average, firm, frothy, to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Citrusy fruity, leafy, hoppy aroma, notes of tea, lemon tea, lemon ice tea, instant lemon tea, rather neutral, caramel malty background; after the first sip a tad defamiliarised by rather cheesy, resinous flavours and with a touch of honey. Taste is dry, toasty, caramel malty, slightly leafy, herbal, citrusy fruity, hints of lemon tea, a touch of black tea, futile malty efforts to establish real chocolately and nutty aspects, cheesy, soggy interludes. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. More a misconception of an Amber Ale than a Bock to me; quite nice as long the lemon tea flavours aren't taken over by the cheesy aspects - so-so.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy and grainy, strawy, malty aroma, notes of wet straw, horse piss, some tangerine and orange, herbal overtones, some herbal honey, a touch of liquorice as well. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty, minimally grainy and strawy, citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, orange, some honey, herbal overtones, widely disguised hints of wet straw. Not the most inviting nose, not the most typical Tripel neither, but well hopped and with a nice, more herbal than floral honey touch. Not so bad.

0.33l bottle from 'Bierloods22', best before September 2020. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly spicy and a bit yeasty aroma of coriander, lemon peel, clove and some honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, spicy, moderately fruity-floral and quite yeasty taste of honey, clove, coriander and some lemon peel, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, gently yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Solid Ale, a little too harsh in the finish though, at least not too sweet or spicy.

Bottle sampled at Borefts, thanks to sjogro. Clear golden with white head. Cardboard, sugary grains, dull herbs, dusty grass, more sugar. Quite sweet and solid medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Bottle shared at Borefts 2019 day 1. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, light spices. I don’t like it. Plain Belgian ale. Boring. Not particularly good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nooit Op on 30 Sep 2019 at 01:00 - Score: 5 --- Beer merged from original tick of Nooit Op (2018) on 30 Sep 2019 at 01:01 - Score: 5

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ 't Kleine Uiltje, Gorinchem. Hazy golden with a very thin white head. Yeasty fruity aroma with a hint of honey. Taste is sweet with a rather sweet finish. Low carbonation combined with the sweetness makes it a bit cloying which is unfortunate because the aroma is quite nice. Needs some fine-tuning.
