12 oz. bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Nose brings out lots of bourbon barrels, a touch of smokiness, and light roast. Flavour reveals lots of smoky bourbon barrels, medium roast, and a touch of sweetness. Smoky, bourbony finish. Not the most complex BBA impie, but then Buffalo is indeed nice.

12 oz can. Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Aromas of weed, dull resin and toasted malts. Flavors of pine, dull lime, and toasted malts. Bitter finish. Simple old fashioned IPA, a step above a good homebrew

On tap at Beachwood BBQ, pours black with a small beige head. Nose reveals deep bourbon, with plenty of vanilla, followed by caramel and some dark fruits. Flavour reveals deep but soft bourbon notes upfront, which impart plenty of vanilla, and with subtler dark fruit character. For a 13% BA brew, this is remarkably smooth and soft on the palate. It perhaps doesn't have the elegance or complexity that other top BA brews do, but this is well-made.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous and piney hops, with gentle tropical fruits, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is vibrantly bitter, with lots of piney hops, a touch of resins, and light tropical character. Crisp biscuity malt backs this up. Dry, piney finish. Doesn't have the depth of some west coast DIPAs, but this is solidly made.
