About
Matteo & Cristina Minelli founded Birra Flea in 2013, with the dream of showing their love for the town of Gualdo Tadino and combining the best traditions with an innovative approach. They decided to create a product with a very strong local identity: a beer containing the best fruits of their hometown. The output is 55.000 hectoliters of Italian craft beer per year!

Birra Flea is produced from the well-known waters of Gualdo Tadino and the best malts - 100% Italian barley - produced and selected from the Minelli's farm. Birra Flea is produced with only wheat and barley malts - no other unmalted grains - and is both unfiltered and unpasteurized. It is refermented in the bottle in order to preserve its organoleptic properties, without the addition of preservatives and chemical additives.

Bottle @ Home. Pours hazy golden with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, light caramel, light smoke, light woodsmoke, little sweet fruit. Flavor is light sweet, malt, caramel, caramel, light smokey notes, sweet fruit, ripe apple. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet mild smoked finish. 301219

Bottle: Poured a copper with a thin off white head. Aroma is veggie some light hop. Taste is light hops, little metallic, and sweet caramel malt finish.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy amber with minimal foam. Aroma is yeasty and herbal. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is medium-high bitter, nothing else. Final is average.

Lichtbruin bier zonder schuim. Smaak is bitter zoet en fruitig met iets van perzik en abrikoos. Voor een IPA matig bier, veel te zoet.

Roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en kruidig met iets van rozijnen, druiven en iets van toffee. Erg fijn bier.
