Description
Taste the Unexpected is the motto adopted by Sifnios Othonas Theofanous, the brewer and driving force behind Flaros beer. About 10 years ago he started making beer at home as a hobby. In 2015 he received an award in the pan-Hellenic eco-breeding competition and there I realized that all this effort had to be turned into a commercial product. So in 2017 the dream came true with Flaros beer. He always thought that he wanted to give a distinctive name reminiscent of Sifnos, his island

Bottle @O Mpampas (Koukaki, Athens), paired with pork bites and Jack Daniels sauce. Pours clear yellow with small diminishing white head. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, fair lacing, very soft almost watery mouthfeel, bitter finish. Slightly poor in aroma. Soft malt presence, floral, tropical fruits and grapefruit peel hops. Easy, drinkable, refreshing. I expect more in the future!
