Description
Set on the stunning Kent coast, we at Time and Tide Brewing are fueled by our passion for beer, our sense of fun and unrelenting dedication to making the best beer we possibly can. Founded in 2013 by Paul, Sam and Kerry, our beers reflect our passion; we love juicy, hoppy IPA’s and are excited about modern and progressive approaches to brewing. In 2019 we started collaborating with the Deal Hop Farm; growing hops on a patchwork farm in and around Deal. We use their Prima Donna hops to make more traditional beers in cask and cans.

Can at the Time and Tide Taphouse, Sandwich, 26/08/23. Murky fruit smoothie orange with an off white cap that thins. Nose is dank hop, weed, green onion, hop spice, bitter tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises over ripe tropical fruits, dank spike, weed, herb, grapefruit, pine resin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with resinous come danko hop bitterness. Solid bitter bastard ... right on the edge for me of becoming overpowering ... can see this being divisive amongst raters.

440ml can. Murky yellow, white head. Aroma of zesty citrus, tropical fruits. Taste of juicy tropical fruits, zesty lime, grapefruit, the overbearing Riwaka hops with their savoury burnt bacon notes hold this back from being a banger, it's otherwise lovely.

Can. Beer Stop Dronfield. Looks like broth. No head. Smells like onion gravy. Wow. It’s like something a brewer might have tried 10 years ago emulating a US hazeboi. Only it’s not worked. Awful.

Canned, courtesy of Papsoe, huge thanks! Dark brown-blackish body, off-white head. Coffee, chicory, cocoa, chocolate, light licorice and light yeastiness in the aroma. Chicory dominates the taste, soft and sweetish, with some cocoa too, bit soapy as well. Light, simple, drinkable, quite nice! Dare I say, refreshingly uninnovative? Love the new label too.
