Klare, braune Farbe mit kleiner, gemischtporiger, weißer Schaumkrone. Alkoholischer Geruch mit Trockenfrüchten. Whiskey und Karamell. Im Geschmack kommen zu den beschriebenen Aromen, die sich um eine prägnante Süße gruppieren, noch Vanille und eine leichte Bitterkeit im Abgang hinzu. Nicht das komplexeste Exemplar seiner Art, aber ordentlich gemacht. Noch dazu eine interessante Abwechslung zu den üblichen Bieren.

Eingetrübte, gelb-orange Farbe mit mittelporiger, rasch verschwindender Schaumkrone. Der Geruch geht in eine malzig-süßliche Richtung und lässt in meinen Augen eher weniger fruchtige Aromen wie Citrus und Pfirsiche zu. Geschmacklich umgibt eine leichte bis mittlere Bitterkeit süßes Malz und Anklänge an verschiedene Früchte - Aprikosen, Citrus und Pfirsiche. Sehr erfrischend und geradlining.

Dezent eingetrübte, goldene Farbe mit gemischtporiger, relativ kleiner Schaumkrone. Frischer hopfiger und fruchtiger Geruch. Gut ausbalancierter hopfig fruchtiger Geschmack mit Citrus, Grapefruit und Orangen, allerdings leidet das Bier etwas an fehlender Intensität. Trotzdem ein erfrischendes, ordentliches Bier.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours clear brown with a white head. Aroma is whisky, caramel, dried fruits and brown sugar. Taste is quite mellow with coconut, vanilla, dried fruits and a nice balanced whisky flavour with a hint of alcohol burn. Good stuff

Keg at the brewery. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is mango and pineapple. Taste is a nice refreshing hit of Tropical fruits before a pine bitter Hoppy finish and a little dryness. Nice stuff

0,3l from tap at Wiener Bierfest. brown clear, small off white head. smells of caramel, ripe fruits, some wood, light coconut, bit earthy, some whisky notes. very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sweet, some wood, whisky, earthy, bit grassy, ripe fruits, light plums, caramel, done booze. finishes medium sweet with notes of ripe fruits, whisky notes, done earthy notes and light booze. very good one, rather sweet but very well balanced with the fruit and barrel notes.
