Draght at the brewpub.
Yellow, cloudy body, with a big, fluffy, white head.
Aroma of dough, sweet bread, pepper, ripe fruits, orange, some grass.
Taste follows this, but a bit lighter.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium dry, spicy, wheaty, bready, a bit fruity.
Nice one, although nothing special. The flavour is a bit light for this style, while the nose is fuller and quite aromatic. The peppers are well integrated, just providing some background spiciness. Overall a quite simple, but freshly drinkable Saison.

Draght at the brewpub.
Black body, with a big, dense, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of chocolate, dark fruits, coffee, cocoa, some caramel, some spices.
Tastes of coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, toast, some caramel, some liquorice, dark fruits, some alcohol, subtle hops.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, roasty, wooden, alcohol warming, with coffee, liquorice, bitter chocolate, some toast, subtle hops.
Very nice. The nose is quite fruity, while the taste is straight roasty-dry. Well balanced, with just enough alcohol presence. Overall not so outstanding for this style, while still enjoyable.

Draght at the brewpub.
Almost black body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of toast, liquorice, coffee, caramel, cocoa, dark fruits.
Taste follows this, with additional subtle vanilla.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, quite dry, roasty, toasty, with coffee, cocoa powder, some wooden notes, some alcohol warmth.
Tasty. Smooth and greatly balanced, with enough toasty dryness and coffee to balance the dark sweet notes. Quite strong style example, but not overpowering, with a well hidden ABV. Overall propably my favourite Porter from Austria so far, pretty much how I want this style.

Draght at the brewpub.
Dark brown body, with a big, creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of coffee, cocoa, slight liquorice, citrus, passion fruit, orange.
Tastes of citrus, orange, some grapefruit, passion fruit, cocoa powder, smooth coffee, chocolate.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes quite dry, smooth, medium roasty, zesty, citric, moderate fruity, with coffee, cocoa, some liquorice.
Very nice. Really smooth and well balanced, drinks pretty fresh, but still with enough roasty notes. The dry finish makes this even easier to drink, the ABV is completely hidden. Overall not among my favourite style examples, but among the best BIPAs from Austria I’ve had so far.

Aroma of citrus, some orange, flowers, some grass, candy, biscuit.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, moderate dry, medium hoppy, a bit grassy.
Good. Easy and fresh, with a good balance between floral and citric hops and a sweet malt backbone. Nothing special overall, but a solid style example.
