Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Half, keg at The Queens Head. Low white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Cloudy orange coloured body. Fruit hoppy aroma, notes of cat piss. Fruity flavours with moments of lemon and pineapple on a backbone of wheat. Dry, mid-sweet fruity ending. Soft in the mouth. Medium bodied. Fair enough (Kings Cross, London 12.07.2014).

Cask @ The Grapes, Oxford. Dark chocolate brown, translucent. Lively for a cask beer with a decent khaki head. Walnut, bitter chocolate, flint, earth. Some slight metallic tones. Taste is a balanced but assertive bitterness leading to a grainy dry finish. The aftertaste is too bitter for me though. Watery mouthfeel. Basic and well put together. A good example of a UK mild.
