Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Sample at SBWF 2018. Hazy reddish with a small head. Sweetis with strawberries, some light yeast and notes of malt. Not that interesting to be honest.

Cask at Greyfriars, Reading. Low key but the Irish Creme is there along with a coffee. Dark and glossy. Thin beige head. Initial aforementioned sweetness followed by weak coffee. On the thin side. Watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Overall got it make this down as a fail.

Keg at BrewDog, Reading. Smells like Umbongo or similar. Opaque mango orange. Creamy white head just clings to the rim. Taste likes a blend of an IPA and Umbongo. Sweet citrus with a bitter edge. Mesium bodied. Slick. Flat. Abrupt. It's nice enough but I'm not I to fruit juice (bar tomato).

Keg at Castle Tap, Reading. Low key citrus aroma. Hazy medium gold. Thin bubbly white head. Sour with a sweet citrus grapefruit edge. Gains in sweetness. Mesium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Astringent finish. Alright but it gets cloying once the sweetness comes through.

Black beer, beige head. This is a big rich, chocolatey oatmeal stout with a dash of caramel and a decent whack of hop in there to liven it up a bit. Rich and tasty.
