Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Creamy beige head soon left a collar on a near black still body. Malt, espresso, bitter fruit & pine aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth on the palate with a prickle on the back. Sweet coffee, lactose, grape & malt tastes with fruity citrus finish.

26/9/2018. Can courtesy of Colin. Pours almost black with an average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma of vanilla, milky chocolate, malt, caramel, fruit, light aniseed and lactose. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness, slightest hint of tartness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Liked this.

33cl can from the Mad Squirrel shop, Chesham. An explosive opening and a gushing pour revealing an unpleasant looking opaque caramel coloured liquid with an enormous peaky off-white head; the aroma had some weak apricot and peach; the taste however was surprisingly good, with the oats definitely showing up in the smooth body. Overall not an experience I'll be repeating.

Cask @ Mr Foleys, Leeds. Hazy golden with a head. It's a very hoppy dry sour with a its sourness very late and very mild.

Keg @ Cherry Reds during the Brum Bimble, August '18. Pours black, tan head. Blueberry and chocolate coming through nicely on the nose, offering a nice precursor to a chocolatey blueberry syrup character, good dark malts, smooth, good body. Nice.

Can at MS HW, 25/08/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, toasted malts, grains, biscuit, caramel. Taste comprises orange pith, citric tinged straw, light corn husk, toasted grains, bready notes, caramel wafer, biscuit crumbs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Passable pale but not one I'd revisit.
