Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.
The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Cask (Hope Tap JDW, Reading) - Dark brown with red tinges. Chocolate, almonds and some soapy notes in the aroma. Blackcurrant, coffee, roasted malt and soapy hops in the taste.Very nice but feel it is a bit on the hoppy side compared to most milds so it is not really to style.

Can at home, 02/01/17. Hazed orange with a decent off white head. Nose is big on peach, floral notes, peach yoghurt, straw, passionfruit, sweet and sour notes. Taste comprises tarte peach melba, straw, grains, lemon drizzle, light balsa wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light puckering close. Ok ’Linner ... delivers well on the peach.

Can picked up at an unknown location. Consumed at home. It pours cloudy bright pink - red with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tangy, sugary, loads of strawberry boiled candy, creamy, jam and strawberry cheesecake. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, sweet - sour, strawberry, creamy, Victoria sponge, lemon, granny smith apple skin and some citric acidity with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Pretty good fun.

Bottleshare at Leighton’s Gaff. Thanks to Colin for another hoppy can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin but sweetish malts, light cream. Mild pithy orange - lemon, getting tangy. Touch of fresh orange into spicy orange. Light finish, Tangy orange linger. Nice one, not overdone the Early Grey.
