Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Cask at the White Hart, Chobham. Floral/hay at aroma. Sweet popcorn. Gold. Thin white head. Sweet with some umami. Grapefruit, peaches, sugar and spices. Once I’d had some mustard mash the sweetness really came good. Light to medium bodied. Initially seemed oily before developing a softness. Long but understated finish. Really enjoyed enjoyable. Definitely one to have with hot food.

Can split at Bespin, picked up from RSHW, 08/12/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is pissy tropical fruits, melon, tangerine, light spice trace, earthy notes. Taste comprises peach, straw, light herbal, earl grey evident, melon, orange rinds, bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a touch of perfume and light hop rinse. Ok for the sub genre.

Can at home thanks to ShivanDragon. Bit hazy light amber with big light beige head. Quite some bitter fruit skins and citrus peel. Some dusty malts, light caramel, bit of yeast and wood. There’s some fruit but it really mixes with lots of quite strong bitter notes. About medium bodied with good amount of carbonation.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. Amber in colour with a tight cream head; weird coconut aroma; sharp lime zest taste with a creamy coconut flesh body; and a woody rosemary finish. Just as described and oddly drinkable.

Can shared in London - cheers fo Cloin. Pours unclear gold with a fluffy, white head. The nose has some crispy pale grains, lemon peel, a little elderflower. Light sweet flavour with some meringue, bitter grass, wheat, lemon peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some grassy bitterness, dry wheat bread, more bitter citrus peel. So so.
