Can at home, split with and thanks to James, 05/05/17. Golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is caramel malt, orange pith, straw, lemon tingle, faint Sorachi strokes. Taste comprises blood orange, overly mineral in flavour, citric tinged straw, bready notes, light spice, lemon rind, biscuit crumble, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop dusting and minor Sorachi chords in the close. Passable affair.

Can at home thanks to ShivanDragon. Bit hazy light amber with big light beige head. Quite some bitter fruit skins and citrus peel. Some dusty malts, light caramel, bit of yeast and wood. There’s some fruit but it really mixes with lots of quite strong bitter notes. About medium bodied with good amount of carbonation.

Can. Hazy amber beer, big pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Caramel malts, tangy and not that sweet. Bitter floralness with a soapy edge. Tangy orange in to a light finish. Tastes a bit better than it sounds.

Cask. Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. Clear amber. Off white, sticky head. Lovely hoppage. Rye (I’m guessing) malts, and Sorachi hop blending well. Juicy, and spicy. Taste is much the same. Decent balance of spice, sweet, and juicy bitter. Poffed it quick.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. Golden amber with a loose cream head; peachy aroma; soft in the mouth, with an oily body, and a sweet fruity peach taste that coats the tongue; and a well-balanced, smooth bitterness; then a slight warmth to finish. Excellent.

Cask at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, Tuesday 28th April 2015 Reddy amber with lacy head. Fruity nose and also fruity in the mouth with the Sorachi and Mosaic working well in tandem here, the finish is quite dry. I had this earlier in the evening with Peter, later on Gazza and Jay (Hopcraft) joined us, they felt it was more orange in appearance, but I am sticking with my reddy amber view. It is a very decent beer a little bit of summer fruitiness, tangy, really pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
