On tap pours out crisp clean golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice grain some spice. Taste is more of the nice grain bread spice notes and some grass.

Straightforward pils, bright and floral, with a gentle grainy front touched by white bread and lemon, and a mild, floral-dusted finish. Slight vinous funkiness in the fade. Good, not great.

Another impressive lager from Barrique, offering up caramel, date, apple, and a spicy-herbal Saaz finish, with a modest vinous note in the fade. Tasty pint.

Interesting Mexican-style lager, which doesn’t mean it’s good, but at least it has a couple twists differentiating it from other craft Mexi lagers. The Oaxacan corn really does amp up the nuttiness, and the wine-barrel finish adds the familiar Barrique slight vinous funkiness to the back end. Not great, but a memorable version of the style.

First wine barrel-aged pils I’ve tried. Interesting how it accents the style: grainy sweetness and floral notes are present, as is a touch of melon and a spicy back end. Oak bitterness mixes with subtle notes of chardonnay and a little barrel funk. Works surprisingly well. Nice pint.

Much lighter schwarzbier than I’m used to, with a front offering a mix of mild chocolate-caramel notes, lemon, and pumpernickel. Grows yeasty on the back end, leading to a grassy sweetness and a mild bitter floral finish. Lingering bread in the fade. Good, but not my preferred style of black lager.

Can shared by Adam at Your Old Droog Cellar Blast. Pours a clearish straw gold with a full two fingers of white, creamy foam that lingers. Lovely notes of rice, straw and mineral with a touch of vanilla. Smooth finish but crispy on the edges. Balanced finish with mineral and rice with a slightly creamy texture under the crisp lager mouthfeel. Very nice.

Bottle care of Andrew shared at Your Old Droog Cellar Blast. Thanks Andrew! Pours a mostly clear reddish copper with a small bit of off-white head that dissipates. Muscat aromas with red grape notes as it warms. Some redcurrant alongside vinous grape flavors. Tart, but not overly acidic. Dry on the finish with a touch of vinegar and oak that lingers.
