Woody and rich, offering a deep toasted bread middle lined with caramel, honey, nuts, and oak. Finishes with an almost pilsner-ish floral note, and a dry fade. Not bad.

Bottle shared. Thanks Adam! Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Huge peach focused nose with gooseberry, cobweb and oak. On the palate lots of oak, but just intense yellow peach notes forever. More balanced than most Barrique beers, this is stellar.

Bottle courtesy of Andrew. Thanks man! Pours an unclear, almost hazy honey gold with orange highlights and a small white head that dissipates. Acidic nose with lots of sour aromas. Grape, stone fruit, apricot and peach aromas. Quite acidic on the palate, but there is some residual sugar from fruit present. Lots of stone fruit and grape that lingers on the finish. Really sour and acidic.

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a small finger of white foam that dissipates to a ring. Strong acidic aromas with vinegar and oak really stand out. Tart stone fruit and underripe peach and plum. Quite tart and acidic on the palate. Some muscat notes. Body is light, just agressively acidic. Lingering acidity on the palate with young stone fruit. --- Beer merged from original tick of 016 - Stone Fruit Blend on 17 May 2019 at 23:06 - Score: 7

Bottle from Craft Brewed shared at a dinner party. Pours a clearish gold with a quickly dissipating finger of white foam. Light wild strawberry aromas at first with hay, must and grassy aromas. As it warms more white wine vinegar and acidic aromas come out. Quite acidic on the palate with a rush a white wine vinegar. Some lemon, hay and acidic gooseberry on the palate. Was hoping this wouldn't be as acidic as it was. --- Beer merged from original tick of 018 Green Door on 22 Apr 2019 at 23:43 - Score: 7. Original review text: Acidic nose with oak, muscat and faint strawberry aromas. White wine Vinegar on the palate and fairly strong acidity. Nice oak and wood note

Bottle pour at Southern Grist 3rd Anniversary. Pours a clearish ruby to light plum red color with a small white head that dissipates. Plum forward nose with some apricot and oak and as it warms up a touch of muscat. More plum on the palate with straw, grain husk and horseblanket notes. Great plum flavor with a nice tartness without being overly acidic. Lingering grain, oak and plum wine notes. Great stuff! --- Beer merged from original tick of 015 Sour Plum Saison on 26 Feb 2019 at 10:33 - Score: 8
