Bottle pour at Southern Grist 3rd Anniversary. Pours a clearish ruby to light plum red color with a small white head that dissipates. Plum forward nose with some apricot and oak and as it warms up a touch of muscat. More plum on the palate with straw, grain husk and horseblanket notes. Great plum flavor with a nice tartness without being overly acidic. Lingering grain, oak and plum wine notes. Bottle pour at Southern Grist 3rd Anniversary. Pours a deep reddish copper with a finger of foam that dissipates. Lovely cherry forward nose with some some cherry stone, almond and some vinous aromas. Smooth cherry and mild oaky vanilla on the palate with more cherry stone notes. Dries out nicely on the finish.
