slighly boozy aroma, a lot of wood, strong phenolic/nail polish note, my ABV guess from aroma would be 20 to 25 % alc.
flavor is quite boozy, booze with roasted malty flavors- peppery note, wood, booze, roasted malts, caramelized sugar, chili peppers. quite brutal, not really very refined compared to other high end imp stouts i've had recently.

Bottle, 2022 vintage with Idaho 7 hops. Pours clear golden, medium white head, good lacing. Aroma is pretty musty, basement, citrus, stonefruit. Flavot is light plus tart, medium funk, nice bright hoppiness. Medium body.

Definitely ranks above climate change. Mild grainy sweetness with a touch of lemon candy and freshen cut grass, and a firm floral bitterness on the finish. Nice pils.

Canned 12/22/25, drunk 2/27/26.
Clean enough with light white bread and some dried herb. A lot of Barrique's lagers are not overly aromatic. But at least it's clean enough, though I get a touch of celery-like character on the finish.
Fares a bit better in the mouth, with mostly clean flavors, though the malt isn't all that supple/fluffy/honey-rich. More just a flat white breadiness. Some more of that vegetal/celery-like character on the end. Dry enough and certainly drinkable with lots to like, but maybe not quite top tier. Seems like it needs just a bit more lagering.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a large white head that laced. Aroma of Noble grass/spice with light breadiness. Not quite med body. Dry tho lightly bready. Flavor is very grass/spice with a lot of florality. Very good flavor.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear brown with a large foamy tan head. Aroma of bourbon and medium dark malt. Med body or so. It's malty and somewhat sweet. A light touch of heat. Lightly bitter with some oak astringency. Flavor is malt, bourbon, wood and a little vanilla. Nice.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a decent creamy tan head. Tmavy malt aroma with a chocolate note. Med body. Nice creamy dark malt with a very light chocolate note. Hop may be some floral but also grass/spice. Maybe a light touch of dark fruit in the finish. Very nice.
