50 cl bottle from John, 11/17/23. Bottled 4/21/21. Murky yellowish-orange, thin / fizzy head. Funky and a little citrusy. Tart and flavorful. Tasty stuff.

Floral yet funky, with a strong lemon-and-white-bread undertone and an oaky, perfume-ish bitterness on the back end. Finishes with a modest funky flourish and a touch of peach. Not bad.

Excellent German pils, offering up a great smorgasbord of floral Noble hop spiciness. Lemon, white bread, and a mild grainy sweetness lead to a tasty Noble-filled back end. Good pint.

Draft at 51 North Taproom. Pours a clearish gold with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Funky horseblanket aromas with lemon, mineral and crackery malt notes. Palate is similar with more lemon curd and funk. Drying finish with some pepper and mineral notes.

Smoked, bit of ham, crisp, mild white bread crust. Tastes like perfect smoke sauna beer!

Interesting dunkel, with a spicy floral note almost giving it a Belgian slant. Hints of cocoa, caramel apple, and toasted bread lead to a vinous undertone on the back end. Doesn’t quite develop the depth you’d want, but still a nice pint.
