pours dark brown with a smooth brown head. roasted malty aroma, also a strong note of cake frosting, probably the tasted coconut. Flavor is a bit watery, texture is sandy or dusty or lighly muddy, chocolate, roasted malts, nice spicy peppery bitter bite in there, like perhaps mild hot chilies, perhaps jalapenos. Overall though, watery and lacking a good punch. tried to stir the can and pour more, it's not bc stuff have settled in the can.

very lively head, I had to drink at once after pouring cause all I got was head. aroma is nutty and roasted malty, guiness style, but more roasted and more aromatic. Flavor is roasted malts, dark chocolate, charred wood, quite dry overall, end is coffee bitterness and roasted malts. good irish stout, lots of flavor.

Pours dark brown, no head. aroma is boozy, all sorts of sweet spices, honey and surup, peppery chili bite you won't notice unless you look for it, but it is clearly and quite powerfully there, mixed into the vanilla and syruppy notes. Flavor is VERY chili hot, a sweet flowery suruppy almost barley winiesh base, and then a lot of pretty hot chili flavors. I like these super-hot habanero chili chips a lot, this one is nearly as hot as they are. Unfortunately the rest of the beer doesn't really work well with the chili bite, it's too sweet and syruppy. Perhaps try the same chilies in a barley wine, or in an imperial stout with much more powerful roasted malty notes.

A severely priced 16 oz can from my local beer supplier, oh well, buy it or don't. The label indicates many adjuncts to the base imperial stout that I like, time to go with the Great Heights snifter. The pour is a dark brown, good beginning, with a temporary head of tan foam, promptly becomes a skim. The scent gives up a lot, I detect marshmallow, chocolate and earth. The drink is full of flavors, just not as complete as I expected. For a 12% abv, it is thin. The flavors are decent but muted, nuts, chocolate, marshmallow certainly, caramel, berries, vanilla and malt. Sweet unquestionably, very much a pastry stout. Not bad, just not the head-turner I hoped for.

Tangerine, grapefruit, gumball nose. Cloudy amber, thick head. Tangerine, whole orange, tangy. Full body, easy carbonation. Juicy.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen 27/07/2023 Intense sweet fruity with passionfruit and mango, lychee, some citrus fruity action, dense sweet malty backbone, piney light bitter hoppy finish. Very nice.

Can. Pours a pitch black hue with a small brown head. A huge sweet vanilla nose. Coffee, dark roast, more big vanilla, sugary. Solid.

Pours black with a light brown creamy head that does not last super long though aroma is dominated by chocolate and cake frosting, in fact, chocolate cake with frosting is what I think of when sensing the aroma. cocoa. roasted malts. 8 flavor is roasted malty, chocolate, faint cocoa, peppery alc. burn that works super well, flavors very well mixed together, end is cocoa and slightly peppery bitter roasted malts. lovely. flavor much more balanced than aroma. 8

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. No idea which vintage, probably 2022 or 2023. No additives it seems. It pours a creamy finger thick light tan head and a jet black body. Cute lacing. The aroma is quite mellow, work alcohol, roasted malts, dark chocolate and some coffee. It's full bodied and silky on the palate, warming and sweet, with a gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, alcohol and some coffee in the flavor. Long finish. A nice one for sure, but perhaps a bit too mellow and straightforward. 230808
