In November 1788, the intersection of a dream and a pioneering spirit ignited Benjamin Stites and 26 others to found the settlement of “Columbia” along the banks of the Ohio near the Little Miami River. Now known as Columbia-Tusculum, Streetside Brewery is proud to be rooted in Cincinnati’s oldest neighborhood.
With the same industrious energy, the Hickey family, Streetside Brewery founders and residents of Columbia-Tusculum, strives to provide a down-to-earth experience with a selection of exceptional craft beer that’s as diverse, and original, as the community they serve.
Streetside Brewery was honored to be named “Best New Brewer in Ohio 2017” by the RateBeer Best Awards. Other awards include a SILVER in the English Style Pale & Bitter category by RateBeer Best 2017 for Return of the Mac (coffee blonde) and Best Sour and Best of Show at the 2016 King of Ohio Competition for Raspberry Beret (berliner weisse with raspberries).

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy reddish-brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of charred malt, chocolate and roast coffee. The finish is creamy with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear bright green melted push pop color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of tart berry, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart berries, wheat, doughy malt and a touch of salt. The finish is sweet-tart with a berry and citrus aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at the brewpub. Cloudy golden color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Herbal hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of dank grapefruit, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Light-bodied with a tart blueberry and citrus character, with some wheat and doughy malt in the background. The finish is mildly tart with a blueberry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Aroma of roast malt, vanilla and coffee. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, vanilla, cocoa and sweet maple. The finish is sweet and roasty with a chocolate malt and vanilla aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

The aroma consists of berries, malt and a bit of hops. Light-bodied with flavors of strawberry, biscuit malt, blueberry and slight hops. The finish is creamy lactose and strawberry. Pretty good overall.

Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart lime, vanilla and pie crust. The finish is key lime and wheat. Above average overall.

Sample at Land Grant during the "Land-Grant x Streetside Collaboration Tapping and Can Release" on 06/08/2018. The beer is a dark brown color with mahogany around the edges, and a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and graham cracker. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker. The finish is charred malt and smores. Good beer all around.
