Pretty mediocre brew. They call it a blend of pale and wheat malts. Thatβs pretty accurate, although the wheat malts are weaker in this one. Golden pour with nice head. Nose and taste is mostly lightly spiced hops. Rated 7/1/02

Light golden pour. Nose and taste of strawberry. Low bodied. Not all that great, but better than a low quality lager. Rated 6/25/02

I was too kind to this one. Too bad itβs retired, or Iβd rerate it. Lager is peppery and lightly spiced with corianders. Nose is floral. Rated 11/15/2000

12 oz bottle into English pint. Aroma is sugar sweet--cloyingly so. Extremely malty nose here. Pours a clear amber brown with a medium dissipating head, average lace. Thankfully the taste isnβt cloying sweet like the aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes a little salty with just a touch of bitter. Medium bodied, highly carbonated. Not bad, not great. Addendum: beer looks like shit 3/4 of the way through a glass--no head or lace remain. I had to downgrade my appearance score.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a clear golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of corn, lactose, light esters, and caramel. Taste is corn, soggy malts, water and cardboard. Fizzy.

12oz bottle
Appearance: Reddish brown with a medium off-white head which leave lacing as it dissipates quickly
Aroma: Dark fruits, nutty
Taste: Thin mouthfeel, dark malts and fruits, medicinal taste that lingers in the finish
Not to bad, tastes much better cold. When it starts to warm up I get some off flavors.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan color. Fluffy off-white head. Sweet aroma, with a slight corny adjunct thing going on. Pretty insipid beer, though does capture most of the essence of a Cream Ale. Slightly doughy, with some underlying vanilla. OK in some respects, but awfully close to macro swill in itβs bland, non quality malt feel. Light to medium body, hyper sessionable. Underwhelming.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan color with a small, but respectable enough head. Sweet artificial strawberry aroma, a touch of wheat if there somewhere. Refreshing enough, the difference between real and artificial strawberry in beers can be hard to distinguish. On the lighter side of medium bodied. Simple and straightforward, it is what it is. Id never find myself buying a sixer of it, but I can appreciate it for what it is.

12oz bottle. Filtered brown-amber color, thin beige head. Medium bodied, with some sweet caramel flavors tones. A pleasant balance of medium-dark malts and light, soapy hops. Almost tastes as if there is a bit of amber malt in it. Inoffensive and straightforward. Mild nutty notes. An OK session beer, tame and simplistic.

Pours light copper into a shaker. Creamy white micro head with medium retention leaves scant sheets as it recedes to skim surface. Sour cream aromas. Astringent sour vegetables from front to back. Dry nasty finish.
