About
Ei8ht Ball Brewing was a microbrewery that opened up in the back of The Party Source in the Bellevue / Newport (Greater Cincinnati) area. They eventually would go on to can and distribute in Ohio and Kentucky. The closed up shop in 2017 when the owners decided to focus on their bourbon distilling business instead.

Draft -!Aromatic herbal notes with some rye bread. Clear gold with a decent white head. Much like it smells with a long but dry finish.

Draft - Dark caramel mats and caraway seeds. Deep brown with a light beige head. Lots of caramel, dark brapeady notes and caraway. Dark bready notes.

Sample at the OTR Beerfest during Cincinnati Beer Week. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of spicy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Taft’s Ale House. This beer pours a hazy copper-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of yeast, malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of fruity yeast, malt and mild floral hops. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
