Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a hazy copper with a finger of foam that dissipates. Tart cherry aromas with some light vanilla notes. Spiced cherry, cinnamon and tart, acidic notes on the palate. Lingering acidity.

16 oz. draft at Reilly Craft pizza, Tucson Arizona. Aroma shows me clove and banana, wheat.
The carbonation on the tap line is off. Not sure if the keg didn’t carbonate or if it was the line at Reilly’s. Almost completely flat mouth feel. The flavor is correct. Just needs minor corrections.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a glowing straw with a finger of white foam that lingers. Cucumber-forward nose with light grass notes and touch of lime. Smooth and clean, highly drinkable. Cucumber seed and flesh. Light tartness on the finish with some lingering lime and salt notes. Really well done.

So you do taste coconut, which is good, but there’s also a hefty dose of dirty dishwater and copper pennies on the back end, a weird combination of off flavors that make for a somewhat baffling finish to an otherwise unremarkable amber ale. Caramel, toasted grain, and the slightest bit of bitterness are a nice touch, but the latter half grows by turn metallic then bland, with a mustiness that carries long into the fade. Full body gives a pleasant texture, but otherwise highly skippable.

20th Jan 2018, poured from the tap myself in Pizza. Beer. Laguna Beach. Clear amber body, deep off-white head. Light coconut esters and flavours but not overpowering, more caramel on a sweet bread roll to my nose and taste buds. My sweet tooth liked it. Had a 12 oz can of this on 27th March 2019, didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first time (score not been altered).
