Pretty damn delicious, with a lovely grass-n-clove farmhouse yeastiness complemented by deep veins of berry, lime, and grapefruit followed by hints of dank, earth, and straw. Should’ve gotten the full pint instead of the 9 oz. Great beer.

Breaking out the mad skills for the 2nd Anniversary imperial IPA. What a great beer--all the soft, luscious, juicy goodness associated with the style without any weird vegetal grossness or hop burn. Just an all-around amazing brew: lovely notes of pineapple, lemondrops, passionfruit, earth, and pine, underscored by a nuanced sweet grain backbone and a piney, citrus-infused finish. Pillowy texture is to die for, as is the golden-milkshake haziness. Friggin' great pint.

Good, if slightly subtle, with vanilla becoming the dominant note, much more so than espresso or bourbon. Lovely pipe tobacco aromatics from Love Supreme are always welcome, as is the gentle vanilla-laced sweetness, but the bourbon never takes hold on the back end, adding only a mild heft to a semi-dry, modestly oaked fade. Very drinkable, just not as bold as the description implies.

About as pitch-perfect as an Americanized marzen can get, full of rich veins of caramel and toasted bread followed by hints of earth and dried apple, finished off with a slightly spicy floral hop flourish. Just a damn fine Oktoberfest beer.

Tasty, loads of juicy grapefruit and orange, backed up by lemon zest, pine, and a little earth. Finishes with a modest bitterness on top of whole-grain crackers. Good.

Good, but a tad worty, with a mild funky sweetness underlining massive notes of mandarin, coconut, wood, passion fruit, pine, and a little earth. Finish with a slight bitterness and a lengthy dose of resin.

Very nice NEIPA, hazy and soft, with plenty of grapefruit, lemondrops, mango, and dank notes finished off by hints of pine and a gentle bitterness. Creamy, easygoing texture makes for a fast-disappearing pint. Not sure if this can is the same beer as Cloudland at the brewery (the ABVs are identical, not sure about the hop bill), but a lovely pint at any name.

Another very good black IPA by a Chattanooga brewery. Strong, rich roasted malt notes offer up unsweetened cocoa, coffee, and hints of anise, against a formidable grapefruit-orange-pine hope profile and a resinous, roasted finish. Pours brown-black with a lingering off-white head and ample lace. Tasty as hell.

Wickedly juicy coffee pale ale, with a bright berry-stone fruit hop profile backed up by an acidic cold-press java base and a roasty, semisweet finish. Coffee lingers long into the fade, offset by a mild hop bitterness and a gentle grainy malt undercurrent. Very good.

Way too malty and complex for a Session IPA (not a complaint). Caramel and toasted grain sit underneath a striking mix of pine, grapefruit, lime zest, and mild tropical notes. Full-bodied but insanely easy to drink. What I wish all ISAs (if that's what we're calling them these days) could be.
