Not bad for what it is. A modest cereal sweetness mixes with hints of toasted corn and a gentle floral bitterness accented by subtle apple and white bread. Light, easy-to-drink, does what it's supposed to do.

Lovely NEIPA, hazy with a juicy, bright hop center offering up tons of grapefruit, lime, earth, resin, chive, and an herbal fade. Pillowy texture invites repeat drinking. Way too easy to finish a pint. Yum.

Seems more of an English barleywine than American, with deep notes of raisin, fig, candy apple, and dried cherry layered on top of toffee, caramel, and bourbon on the finish. Boozy warmth and oak linger on the fade. Very sweet; might need some aging.

Hefty dose of caramel and bread on the nose, hints of wet malt. Pours a dark brownish-red with a thick beige head and spotty lacing. Taste offers more bread than caramel, but with a mild wort-ish funky undertone not altogether welcome in the pint. Finishes semi-dry with a modest sweetness and a lingering yeasty bite. Medium-bodied and easy-drinking.

Indulgent and rightfully so, with waves of dark chocolate, molasses, anise, and dark fruits slowly morphing into a spicy, bourbon-fueled finish. Mocha and rye come through on the back end, while the warm fade is all oak and booze. Tame texture belies the pint's strength; drinks like warm milk. So very good.

Tasty, with a frontal burst of grapefruit and tropical notes, followed by a dry, piney middle and a clingy but manageable bitterness on the fade. Malts provide a modestly sweet, grainy base, yet the tea notes are apparent as well, offering an unexpected leafy heft to the back end. Lovely citrus nose, and the pour is a gorgeous gold with an unyielding white head and massive lacing. Nice IPA.

Strong veins of caramel undercut by cocoa and hints of apple, offset by a moderate piney bitterness and a nutty, dry finish. Not picking up much orange, but the texture's nice and chewy, and the nose is a lovely mix of caramel and oats. Not bad.

Nice layered imperial porter, offering up a solid chocolate core with a bourbon flourish and coffee roastiness rounding out the back end. Dark fruits and caramel surface in the middle, yet the pint never grows overly sweet, instead allowing the booze and oak to percolate on the finish. Thick and smooth, with a lovely beige head and good lacing. Tasty brew.

Drinkable Red IPA, if a tad underwhelming. Never quite reaches the caramel depths you want from a solid red ale, but the pine and citrus from the hops add balance, and a firm bitterness shores up the fade. Lovely citrus-n-caramel nose, and the pour comes out deep brown-red with a lasting white head. Not my favorite H&A pint, but it sure disappeared quickly.

Very nice IPA (or IIPA, or CIPA, or CIIPA, or beer), with a bright, juicy hop profile offering up tons of fruit salad notes against a dry, modestly bitter finish. Mango, berry, citrus, and stone fruit are set against a mildly sweet malt base, while the back end takes a slight floral-pine detour before finishing with a lingering yeast-n-citrus bite. ABV isn't apparent--I was shocked to see the "8%" on my crowler label--and the texture's a nice mix of sparkly and creamy. Starting to see why this style of IPA is all the rage--it's like an NEIPA somebody actually bothered to finish brewing. Tasty.
