A 16 oz black can with a mostly green label, good effect, that I got at the across-town beer store. Staying inside the Metroplex, I have my Cowtown tulip glass prepared to get the pour. I see an interesting amber-gold body topped by an almost white cover of foam. The smell is quite all right, old school IPA I am inclined to believe, with hops, nectarines, citrus and pine. The drink confirms the scent. I get Mosaic hops which I like a lot, grapefruit, cedar, malt and a bit of yellow fruit. No indication on the label what the IBUs are, but the bitterness is moderate if not strong. Nice. Tasting a good DIPA pleases me.

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, fruits, flowers, citrus and has a nice bitter finish.

Can at home, from Beerdome online, 23/12/23. Moderately hazed orange golden with a decent lasting just off white head. Nose is orange zest, papaya, hint of mango, grass, ripe melon, soft malts. Taste comprises orange zest, grapefruit, pine nip, melon, mango, papaya, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy to lightly resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Tidy enough easy drinking DIPA.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, minimal head. Rich aroma of dark chocolate, port, vanilla and wood. Sweet with full body and soft gentle mouthfeel. Silky caramelly chocolate, licorice and lots of bourbon. A truely excellent base beer, but the addition of vanilla is creating a cloying sensation - pretty much like add ketchup to a fine meal. Warming bitter finish.

Murky golden beer with a big good lasting white head. Aroma of sweet apricot, peach and more stone fruits, sweet wheat malt. Taste of sweet ripe stone fruits, intense apricot, some peach, wheat malt, sweet malty backbone. Mild bitterness.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is toffee, liquorice, some vanilla, mild wood and some spiciness with a bit chocolaty and syrupy tones. Flavour is dried fruits, some wood, mild alcohol burn with some spiciness and vanilla with a bit of spices and some chocolaty and roasted tones.
