330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Would never have guessed this as a tripel! Has a spearmint aroma with a very light, fresh taste but essentially lacking depth and bite. Tastes 3% rather than 8%! Disappointing given the excellent amber beer I had the other day.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy yellow colour, dense white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet lemon, somewhat soapy, yeast, light malty. Flavour is lemon, soap, floral, yeast, dry malts, oat, lemon sweetness, nice bitter malty and hoppy finish. Light-bodied. Tasty.

Tap at the Wildeman, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light crisp yeast light hop and citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a fresh fruity hop bitter light grassy palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draft at In De Wildeman. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus and grass. Flavour is light sweet and light heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle share at the watford tasting thanks to Matteo. Name sounds like the manufactureer of chemical toilets. Dregs pour, murky brown amber, with a brown off white head. Aroma is fruity, slight lemon zest and yeasty. Flavour is yeasty, lemon, meaty, Belgian yeast. High carbonation and slightly thin.

Bottle at Watford tasting, thanks to Matteo. Enticing name... It pours deep amber with a medium beige head. The nose is earthy, stewed orange, sherbet, tangerine, candy and sponge cake. The taste is wood, orange, tangy, tangerine, sherbet, caramel, light alcohol and some bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Doesn’t quite live to the name. Not a whole lot to it, but decent enough.
