Bottle. The taste was better than the aroma. Spices, some citrus, quite sweet with a light acidity. Ok but nothing special.

On tap at Colchester BF 2011. Hazy dark gold with thin beige head. Some cherry fruit and some esters on aroma. Its a fruity strong Belgian ale. A refreshing change from British bitters. Some pepper bitterness on the finish. Apple and sweet cherry on aroma. Touch of earthy unrefined hop and malt. Fruity but not in a great way. If I was at a Belgian BF this would get short shrift.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, yellow colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty and mildly sweet malty aroma with citrus- and melon-fruity and flowery hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, surprisingly light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft pale malty base with a rich fruit-character of citrus, melon and pineapples; moderately bitter fruity and spicy hoppy finish. Likeable brew, just a bit slim. 05.XII.10
