Can (4/4/20) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is opaque dark yellow with tons of sparkle, 2.5-finger width foamy white head with good retention and trace spotty lacing. Aroma is very strong perfumey/sweet lemon and pineapple. Taste follows aroma exactly. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, forthy texture, soft carbonation, and finish as taste with the addition of late dry, yeasty mild bitterness. Overall, not terribly complex but a nice, light, refreshing fruity beer.

Can (packaged 3/4/20, best by 9/4/20) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is opaque dark yellow with a couple of big white floaties, nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-plus white foamy head with decent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong pineapple and berries, milder, later citrus. Taste is really strong pineapple/pineapple rind, orange pith, late milder strawberry in the decay. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Overall, weirdly advertised as an Imperial Pale Ale on the can--not really sure what to make of that. But, nice mix of hops that goes together well. A little overcarbonated.

Can (4/27/20) pour from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is cloudy dark yellow with no sparkle, 1-plus finger width white foamy head with decent retention and mild lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and a background musky, scalliony herb. Taste is strong citrus, moderate grape, floral and herbal components; background grainy malt. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Overall, good strength and a nice mix of aromas and flavors. A little thin but I like it.

Can from tfontana in a share. Canned on 04/27/20. Aroma is fresh, bright citrus, pineapple chunks, peach-ish notes. In the flavor the fruit is here but also shows, soft florals and mild herb. Balanced exceptionally well. Soft floral bitterness. Nice.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana, thanks Tom for the opportunity! Batch:1/13/20--Kveik yeast, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Pacifica, Pacific Jade. Aroma was of light white grape, pale grain, and tropical fruit. Flavor white grape throughout with undertones of tropical fruit. Slightly grainy texture with hints of juice. Give me that Nelson Sauvin!

Can (1/13/20) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is opaque orange juice look with decent sparkle at the edges of the glass along with a few dark floaties, finger-plus rocky foam white head with good retention and attractive soapy lacing. Aroma is citrus, tangerine, grape, candied fruit. Taste follows aroma but grape is stronger with milder tangerine, citrus and candied fruit; mild herb. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with fairly thick texture, lively carbonation (slightly stinging to the tongue) and finish as taste with some yeast undertones and mild lingering, dry bitterness. Overall, if not for the floaties this would have a perfect look and strong flavors with decent complexity. However, aroma not quite as strong or interesting as the flavor and overcarbonation detracts from the experience.

Can (1/13/20--Kveik yeast. Nelson Sauvin. Motueka. Pacifica. Pacific Jade) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is opaque yellow-orange (virtually orange juice) with lots of sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy white head with decent retention and mild soapy lacing. Aroma is grape, mild herb, pepper spice, a bit yeasty. Taste follows aroma with dominant yeast and grape, pepper spiciness and background citrus with light crackery malt. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp, dry, yeasty finish with lingering mild bitterness. Overall, a perfect look and Nelson Sauvin dominant with good contributions from the yeast and herbal/spicy/citrusy contributions from the others. A lot going for it.
