Can (11/4/19--D'oh) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is cloudy, pale yellow with fair sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with good retention and fair soapy lacing. Aroma is strong grape, citrus, wheat, yeast. Taste is strong citrus, grape and a decent wheat cracker balance. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and crisp, dry finish with lingering cracker, yeast and mild bitterness. Overall, liveliness of the mouthfeel kind of overwhelms the taste experience but a little bit of complexity here in both flavor and aroma.

Can (8/12/19--D'oh) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is opaque yellow pineapple juice, with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with decent retention and mild soapy lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet citrus fruit. Taste is fruit that changes quickly from grape to melon to citrus with late cracker malt base. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, fairly thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp, dry finish with lingering bitterness. Overall, nice look and mouthfeel with decent aroma and taste especially for the ABV and style. Did not appear to suffer due to age.

Can (12/16/19) pour. Appearance is opaque orange juice with fair sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and tons of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruit, milder tangerine. Taste is strong as aroma with grapefruit bite as well. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thin texture, lively, biting carbonation and finish as taste with lingering pleasant dry bitterness. Overall, while not terribly complex, strong aroma/flavor; however the effervescence is a bit strong.

Can (10/21/19) pour. Appearance is cloudy yellow-orange with lots of small floaties and light sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and lots of sudsy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and sweet fruit, straw. Taste is citrus, grape, tangerine, late piney bitter. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation with citric bite, finish as taste with lingering mild bitterness. Overall, the citrus is the star of the show with supporting sweet fruit around it. Citrus bite and carbonation kind of clear the throat.

Can (11/18/19) pour. Appearance is opaque yellow-light brown with no sparkle, yeasty floaties, large frothy head (can may have been dropped) with decent retention and fair sudsy lacing. Aroma is citrus. Taste is moderate citrus, fruit (grape?), and background grains. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, general sweet and fruitiness but fairly nondescript. OK but doesn’t stand out in any way.

Can pour. Appearance is hazy orange-yellow with fine, dark floaties held in suspension, trace sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is strong (from the moment you open the pull tab) citrus, pine, milder grapefruit and hint of herb. Taste is dominant pine and herb, milder tropical fruit and citrus, hint of spice. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry, crisp finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor and decent complexity. A bit on the thin side for the style.
