500mL bottled March 2021, drunk 5/27/22. Chill-hazed, peachy-brass. Ring of white bubbles. Wow very aromatic herbal nose is dense, soft mineral-rich sumac. Almost like vanilla-mint in its nature. Or actually, rooibos tea is more appropriate. Whatever the case, it's pretty incredible that it's still this expressive after 15 months. Almost a bite too dominant. No alcohol or flaw. Light lemony acidity from sumac and lactic character. Soft again in the mouth, chewy, and well-attenuated with spearmint, lemon, earth, mineral, spicy and vegetal rhubarb. What a wild ride this one is. Lingering acidity but never sharp or overwhelming. Ultra-soft texture. No flaw or alcohol. Pretty insane how much adjunct character still comes through after this long. This would have been brutally over-adjuncted when fresh.

500mL bottled December 2020, drunk 5/19/22. Beeswax-marigold. Lightly hazy, fizzy white head. What a nose! Soft, delightful, rich barnyard funk for days. Light lemon, big, easygoing Brett and tons upon tons of rustic grains adding all sorts of fresh baked sourdough, biscuit and such. Clean, no alcohol, low acidity, but great balance with tons of mineral and mild sulfur and other various funk. Very flavorful for its size with lemon, big bursts of lactic acid and a bit of metallic yeast (thing is 2.5 years old so some autolysis and other actual yeast flavor is normal). Solid malt texture, good attenuation, good depth, light sweetness. Bigger and richer flavor than expected for its size. A lot going on here. White grape, strong mineral, yogurt, stronger lactic acidity with warming.

Draught at Armsby, 4/22/22. Dark ebony with some mahogany highlights on the edges. Undetermined clarity. Dark beige/light tan head is small, but shows moderate retention. Big chocolate (dark) in the nose with coffee-like acidity, hints of molasses, vanilla and fudge. Smells sweet, but pretty acidity helps balance pretty well. No alcohol or flaw. In the mouth it's bittersweet cocoa with big bursts of molasses and vanilla along the way. Coffee is fresh/authentic/well-done here. Lots of fudginess definitely pushes things towards sweet, and it's a sticky, borderline syrupy texture, but the bittersweet chocolate definitely goes a long way to balance on the finish.

Draught at Row 34, 4/2/22. Moderately hazy, sunny golden peach. Small, white head quickly to a ring. Delicate, floral, spicy and citrus nose with softening grains and very minor cracker. Fruity yeast with no alcohol, twang or flaw. Juicy, fruity, lightly but ample bitter and malty and dry. Tangerine and light peach-pineapple with small bursts of sweetness from the malt. Heavy on the yeast ester but if you don't mind that, this is excellent.

Canned 1/21/22, drunk 3/1/22. Dark black, some clarity. Dark beige head is medium, well-retained. Honey, almond, light chocolate and beautiful, mineral-rich, house yeast. Light roast and mild maltiness. Soft, chocolatey, not overwhelmed by bitterness or intense roast. Mineral rich, leather and chalk with balancing bitterness and a drinkable, malty, well-attenuated body.

Can, from City Swiggers cooler, drunk 1/15/22. Hazy bronze. Big, white head. Falls slowly. Getting pretty tired of kveik yeast ... Bubble gum, pepper, sulfur. Sulfur, light pine. The beer itself is soft and well attenuated but I'm just so tired of these yeasty flavors. Booooo this man.
