Description
It all started with a humble homebrew kit and the drive to make better beer. Tired of the same bland and dated choices everywhere, Air Force friends Eric Wallace and Dick Doore set out to make the kind of beer that excited them; beer they wanted to drink. A hobby quickly became an obsession and it wasn't long before Left Hand Brewing opened for business on January 22, 1994. Left Hand has steadily increased its production, making the Brewers Association’s Top 50 Craft Brewers list in 2012.

(Can) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted, fruity nose with raspberries, chocolate, coffee, dark bread and prunes. Malty, roasted taste with notes of raspberries, dark bread, chocolate, coffee, prunes and a mild roasty bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. A sligh berry tartness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle. I love the aroma of this beer. Floral, citrus, brunt toast. Taste is not so good, but really good after taste after you get past the bitterness. Deep dark color. Nice brown head.

Bottle. Funny I should taste this on after a Gubna. This one is even MORE bitter. You know when is everyone going to get over their obsession with IPAs? Gold. Aroma like an IPA. Taste bitter.
