(Can) Pours slightly hazy amber with no head. Nice, subtle aroma of orange and caramel. Light to medium body with pleasant somewhat fizzy carbonation. Nice sour, but not very sour, start with definite orange notes. Some light malt and salty hints then develop. Has a nice crisp tart finish. Really quite restrained, rather unusual and very drinkable.

From a 500ml bottle on 27//2017. Pours near black with a no head. The nose is pretty rough, sharp and yeasty. Tastes similar to the smell but a little more palatable - yeasty and bretty, with with some blackcurrant, and roasted malt. Finishes with a moderate sour bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not a total disaster, but all that pleasant.

Bottle. Very dark brown with less than a coat of beige head. Aroma is roasty and funky in equal parts with licorice, cinnamon, old lemons and a light earthy note. Medium bodied, very close to but not quite flat. Strong bread, cold brew coffee, licorice, oak and spiciness that’s sufficiently astringent you wonder whether there’s some sourness there too (I guess no). Interesting beer with a digestif-like herbal touch. A few more bubbles would have been very welcome.

Can from Wine Warehouse. Pours pale hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is black pepper, lemon zest. Flavor is light front end black pepper, lemon zest, coriander, a little bit of fruit, and a load of black pepper in the back end. Very interesting.

330ml can from Wine Warehouse. Pours pale hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is tart lemon/lime juice, a little earth. Flavor is more lime than lemon, but it’s not overly tart. Coriander and a little earth as well, but quite smooth and extremely drinkable. Nice work.

330ml can. Pours hazy gold with a nice head. Apple, orange, pineapple, slight acidity, quite nutty and very savoury in the finish. Not sure I get any pomegranate. Disappointed.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear deep golden color with thin quickly diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of wheat, citrus, coriander, salt, pepper and tropical fruit. Taste starts light sweet grainy and citrussy, following is a bit spicy, grassy, salty and peppery, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and soft carbonation in palate. Nice, but not as refreshing as expected...

L159 4 18 on the 16.9 ounce bottle.
Colour of straw, massive then respectable head of foam.
Huge coriander nose with pepper and fruit. Smells very flowery overall.
Coriander and a sweet taste up front. Lemon flavour comes in to cut the sweetness level. Mild dash of pepper, light salt and tartness.
Great drinkability on a hot summer day. $7.50.
