From a 440ml can on 8/5/2021. Pours a clear deep reddy amber with a biggish head. Has a nutty, malty nose with some darka nd dried fruit. Tastes as it smells but perhaps a little more subdued. Malt and dark fruit dominate but the hops are modest and it's all a bit too muted for a big beer. Fullish body with average carbonation. I've really enjoyed a number of the Supersonic series, but this one is just okay.

Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter kirsbær, parfyme og en anelse kokosnøtt. Smaker kokos og syrlig kirsbær. En noe snodig sammensetning av smaker. Sitter igjen med syrlig sukkertøy i avslutningen.

Bottle. Pours orange. Orange zest, liquorice, poppy seed, lemon, grapefruit, negroni, bubblegum, light earthy coffee notes. Very carbonated, but it works. Decent.

(Can) Pours black with thin small brown head. Aroma is coffee with burnt smoky notes. Medium body with slight stickiness and fine carbonation. Taste is an interesting balance of coffee and burnt bitterness with a gentle sugary sweetness which domes in mid palate. There’s plenty of coffee flavour in this. Unusual, interesting and whilst I like stout and coffee, I think I prefer them separate.

Can 440ml @ home
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is very perfumed with notes of artificial cherry candy. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long artificial cherry candy finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

(Can) Pours cloudy, lumpy orange with short-lived white head. Aroma of pine with notes of mango and orange and hints of cream. Full bodied with very bright carbonation and a slightly slick finish. Fruity tangy start with mango, develops a creamy note in the mid palate and then heaps of hoppy bitterness piles in for a big bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with small white head. Intense fruity aroma dominated by passion fruit with citrus and funky notes. Medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is fruity but with a fair bit more going on. The fruit is passion fruit and citrus. There’s some good bitterness which steadily builds through the palate and gives a long finish. There are some other earthy funky hints which are interesting, but I find a bit unsettling. Very enjoyable.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy golden with tiniest hint of white head. Great aroma of lime, mandarin and a hint of funk. Plenty of body and plenty of very fine soft carbonation giving a smooth luxurious mouthfeel. Great taste with balance of fresh citrus fruit up front and plenty of hoppy bitterness at the end. There’s subtle biscuit malt in the background. Very nice.

(Can) Pours black with small coffee colours head. Nice aroma of chocolate and caramel. Full bodied, smooth, slightly sticky with fine carbonation. Great taste. Caramel and chocolate are the heroes. There’s some creamy notes at the start, some cherry or berry hints, and some burnt sugar bitter hints. Very drinkable.

From a 440ml can on 19/11/2020. Pours a fairly clear medium golden with a small head. Has a strong and very pleasant fruity nose - the passionfruit and yuzu presenting in spades. Tastes even better - masses of passionfruit, which is balanced beautifully by that tart, citrussy yuzu bitterness. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. I thought the Supersonic Yuzu was the best in this series to date, and this is right up there with it. Fragrant, tasty and lovely.
