Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity taste of caramel, nuts and hints of raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally roasty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat. Solid Dunkel.

Sweetish-malty, slightly bitter taste of straw and sweet malts with hints of citrus and honey, followed by a short, slightly grassy, medium bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat. Okay.

Malziger Antrunk, mild-weich mit leichter Karamell-Note. Etwas wässrig. Ganz leicht lakritzig. Feinherb im Nachgeschmack mit mild-weicher Röstmalzigkeit. Cremiger Schaum. Nachgeschmack lang anhaltend, lecker cremig!
Leckeres Bier, aber für ein Schwarzbier etwas wenig Röstmalz. --> 12/13/11/12

Schön orange-trüb im Glas, mild-weich. Der Antrunk ist cremig, fruchtig-frisch. Die Süße tritt in den Hintergrund, malzige Fruchtigkeit, milde Pfirsichnote, weiche Hefe - diese Aromen dominieren den Hauptteil. Im Nachgeschmack ganz leicht herb. Weich und mild.

Tap at Wenkers, Dortmund, 28/04/13. Murky dark orange/amber with a medium sized beige head. Nose is dark malts, caramel, dark fruits, sugars, strawberry liqourice. Taste comprises sugars, toffee fudge, berry fruit, strawberry, bready malts. It carries a good pair of bollocks this one! Full bodied, fine carbonation, sweet finish with boozey tones, warming finish. Good stuff - boozey but well tempered and a good depth of flavours, not a one trick pony by any means!

Tap at Wenkers, Dortmund, 28/04/13. Murky mahogony brown with a decent sized beige head. Nose is dark malts, dark fruit, ripe orange, sugars, faint sour hints, touch of liqourice. Taste is a little on the bland side in comparison to the more vibrant nose, dark toffee, brown sugars, malt, nutty tones. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Ok drinkable stuff but a little bland.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter and fruit notes in a dryish finish. Decent refreshing Helles with a good depth of flavour.

Röstmalziger, wenig bitterer Beginn. Würzig werdend, die Röstnoten bleiben konstant, werden aber süßer. Rund, etwas trocken, dafür aber vollmundig malzig im Abgang. Stimmig und süffig mit lang anhaltendem Nachgeschmack. 9/11/11/12//12
